It's worth at most two dollars.” “You why not try?” father inspired him. “Good good think, there will always be a way.”
Finally, he thought of a good plan. He asked his drawing table brother to draw a cute Donald Duck and a mischievous Mickey Mouse on the shirt. He chose to sell it near an elite school gate. Soon, a butler bought the shirt for his young master who loved the picture on it so much that he gave him an extra 5-dollar tip.
25 dollars was no small amount! It was equivalent to his father's monthly wage. Back home, father handed over another old shirt: "Can you sell this one for 200 dollars?"
This time, he didn't hesitate; he took the clothes and started thinking about how to do it.
Two months later, when actress Lori Loughlin came to New York for promotion of her movie "G.I.Joe," he suddenly pushed past the security guard and held up the old shirt asking her for an autograph.
Lori Loughlin signed with ease; she laughed saying "Of course this is your clothes, you can do what you want with them!" He exclaimed: "The autographed sports jersey by Lori Loughlin is selling at 200 dollars!"
After bidding war in front of everyone present, an oil tycoon bought it from him for $1200!
Back home they all celebrated wildly - Father was moved to tears hugging him tightly again and again: "I originally planned if you couldn't sell it I would buy back myself... I never imagined you actually did! You're amazing my son..."
Under moonlight shining through window that night as they slept side by side...
Father asked: “Sonny what have you learned from these three shirts?”
He replied emotionally: “I've learned dad...”
"You are encouraging me..."
"Dad just wanted me know..."
"That even something only worth one dollar can be made grand." What about us living people? Why lose faith in life because we are poor or blackened?"
"I am right! Even something only worth one dollar can become grand—so why should I feel lowly about myself?"
